The Summer Dodo Pop Up Shop is happening from 9:00am - 9:00pm on Saturday and Sunday this weekend at the Palms Mall, Lekki. Bring a friend to bring a friend. Find us in front of Shoprite, directly opposite the iConnect store. Plantains and more.

July Plantain Lovers Connect in Pictures

On July 13th, 2019  Plantain Lovers in Lagos gathered at The Patio, Ediye Limited, Fola Osibo, Lekki Phase 1 for another exciting edition of Plantain Lovers Connect. 

The event saw Plantain lovers enjoy a variety of plantain dishes, food, games, and drinks. The highlight of the event was the eating competition which saw teams of plantain lovers compete against one another to discover the first team to finish a jar of plantain chips.

The event is part of Dodo Gang's efforts to improve the mental health of its gangsters by creating a fun environment for plantain lovers to relax after the hustle and bustle of the workweek.

Dodo Gang PLC: Plantain Lovers Connect In July

Happy New Month Gangsters,

We are extremely excited to present you the July edition of  Plantain Lovers Connect

PLC is an event for Plantain Lovers to network with other plantain lovers while playing games, having drinks and of course eating plantains. Merchandise from the Dodo Gang Shop will also be available on display.

This month's edition will be taking place at a new exciting location and we cannot wait for our gangsters to do the exploration. 13th July is the date and tickets will NOT be sold at the gate.

The Venue is in Lekki Phase 1 and the address will be revealed to you shortly after you have reserved a spot on the guest list, so what's the wait?

World Plantain Day 2019 Festival in Pictures

It truly was an amazing celebration on June 9th as plantain lovers gathered in Lagos to celebrate World Plantain Day at the World Plantain Day 2019 Festival organized by Dodo Gang.

The festival featured a cooking competition curated by Maggi Nigeria as well as an eating competition curated by Red Oak Foods.

Festival Guests were also treated to a wide variety of games, food, plantain meals and drinks served by various food, drinks and lifestyle vendors.

Dear Gangsters,
World Plantain Day 2019 is here once again and we are extremely excited to bring this year’s Festival to you.

     

It’s happening live on June 9th at BICS Garden, Wole Olateju Crescent, Lekki Phase 1 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
It promises to be an amazing edition packed with fun activities which include plantain race, eating competition, cooking competition, cooking demonstration and brand talks.
Maggi Nigeria and Red Oak Foods also have amazing activities in store for our festival guests. You really don’t want to miss out on this amazing event.

Early Bird Festival tickets are now available here for N800 only. Festival Guests would be required to present their e-mail response along with a valid means of Identification at the festival gate.

Easter Dodo Pop Up Shop In Pictures

All through Easter 2019 from April 19 - April 22 at The Palms Mall Lekki, we displayed merchandise items from our Easter Dodo 2019 Collection for our Dodo Gangsters and it was amazing experience.

Dodo Festival 2018 in Pictures

Hello Gangster,

Thank you very much for your support of Dodo Festival 2018. We hope you enjoyed the Dodo Festival experience this year and got to enjoy some great food.

Dodo Festival took place on Monday, December 31st at BICS Garden, and we had a successful day. The weather was warm, breezy and our guests showed up. The festival had solid security presence to ensure free flowing traffic and safety. We are  extremely grateful for our guests who came from all over Lagos to celebrate their love for dodo. Our vendors had delicious, fresh plantain dishes flowing all day long and we're happy to have introduced them to some new customers.

We are grateful to The Jungle House for the Dodo Festival Cooking Competition and Fakeaway.Ng for the Cooking Demonstration which happened live at the Dodo Festival main stage. We are also grateful to our supporters for the festival; Bacardi Nigeria, The Jungle House, LasGidi Creative, Aristokrat Live,  Spinlet, Greenopal Events and The Push.
